Well, this particular reproduction piece is made from silk dupioni, hand-dyed antique lace, and with flossing.. total cost of corset would be $425 USD for a natural waist size up to 36". I did not make the skirt pictured, but I do make a skirt very very similar (it is a 3 panelled mermaid skirt with train) that would run you about $250 USD, pending on fabric choice.
My turn-around time is basically; upon payment of deposit, I will get the mockup out to you within 4 weeks, and then upon return of mockup, I will get the final garment out to you within 4 weeks of that.

Thank you! What about if it was without flossing, or lace? I was thinking of trying to get a green and black dress similar in style to this. Kind of a slytherinish ensemble ;)

Haha, Well, then you'd be the 2nd client I've had in 2 months to order an outfit inspired by the Slytherines! (For serious!)
It would run approximately $400 without the trim.

oh my god. it's beautiful. tina is such a pretty little thing, and so talented. don't be surprised if your beautiful corset shows up in one of her paintings. it's an excellent fit. did you do a mockup?

Hehe. Thanks! Apparently it's slated to be painted in an upcoming piece... (shh).. heh, this one was actually a mega-rush order for her latest show. I did *not* do a mockup because we didn't have time (I think she gave me like, 2 weeks to get it together), and I re-drafted the pattern from an antique in my collection. It freaked me out because any time I re-draft antique shapes for myself, I have to do a bazillion mockups. I was scared to death it wouldn't fit her, that it would be too big here, or there...
but ..
it fit!

That I did. I don't 'spect that to happen every time, that's for sure!
Luckily, I had a pattern for her underbust that I was able to look at and compare notes to.
I appreciate your kind words; coming from such a talented perfectionist as yourself, it is praise of the highest order. :)
